Cocetto: Another Awesome Easter Event
Dozens of families showed up to play cocetto, an Italian egg-cracking game, on Easter at the Highwood Bocce Ball court.
Each child received a chocolate Easter Egg and got a photo with the Easter bunny.
According to Italy magazine, Cocetto started in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy in the 6th century. The game was a "way for townsfolk of all social levels, nobility and commoners, rich and poor, to compete on a level battlefield for a day," according to the magazine.
